About the Course
Knowing how and when to administer emergency oxygen is a valuable skill to have in a dive emergency. PADI® Emergency Oxygen Provider prepares you to offer aid and teaches you to recognize scuba diving injuries and illnesses requiring emergency oxygen.
This is an excellent course for scuba divers, boat crew, lifeguards, freedivers, mermaids or anyone who spends time in and around water. No age restrictions or water sessions required.

How to Earn an Emergency Oxygen Provider Certification
Complete self-study on recognizing dive-related injuries and administering emergency oxygen, then practice assembling and deploying an oxygen unit with your PADI Instructor — building skills you can use on boats, at dive sites, or anywhere people spend time in and around water.
Self-Study
Complete the independent study portion of your course at your own pace, online or offline, using course materials provided by your instructor or dive shop. You'll learn to recognize scuba diving injuries and illnesses treatable with emergency oxygen, and when and how to administer aid.
